Car Show Classes
Please read descriptions before selecting a class
The car show consists of 17 different GTO classes for Modified cars, Stock Hardtop/Coupes, Stock Convertibles, The Judge, Competition Modified, and 2 classes for The GTO Jr. (Tempest, Lemans). First, Second and Third place will be awarded.
There will be 2 classes for Outstanding Pontiacs, Firebird/TransAm and a Best of Show award- the winner of Best of Show Award is not eligible to win class awards.
The stock class will contain cars that look essentially stock (factory type paint and interiors). Replacement Pontiac V-8’s will be allowed. Induction systems should match the year. Non-stock wheels (Hurst wheels excepted) will not be allowed in the stock classes. Engine compartments should look stock.
The Modified class is designed for cars with a little more flair or owners personality. Those cars with custom paint, non-stock wheels or extra chrome for example.
Modified Judges and Convertibles will be shown in the modified classes for their respective years.
The Competition Modified class is for cars exhibiting speed and performance type modifications. These modifications include but are not limited to; roll bars, blowers, narrowed rear-ends, slicks and/or extremely wide tires.
Outstanding Pontiacs is for Other Great Cars by Pontiac. This year the “Outstanding Pontiacs Class” will have awards in four classes. This class will NOT be eligible for Best of Show.
If you have a GTO, Tempest or Lemans you cannot register for the Outstanding Pontiacs class.
If there are disputes about which class a car should be in, the show field supervisor will make the final decision.
